ARMO CVTs are based on static, Magnetic (Ferroresonant) Principle. The input winding normally runs at very moderate levels of flux linkage. The output winding exhibits an intrinsic energy storage characteristic and this energy storageco-operates in conjunction with mains capacitors to produce self-generated AC flux fields which is indirectly excited from the input winding. This results in instantaneous voltage regulation,no transient,no spikes, sine wave output, noise less operation and high isolation between inputs and outputs.
